Product composition
Natural fish oil
Triglyceride form · Friend of the Sea certified · High EPA and DHA content · Unrefined
Extra virgin olive oil
Andalusia, Spain · Early harvest · Cold-pressed · Actively protects omega-3 against oxidation

Olive oil is not just an ingredient — its natural polyphenols (oleocanthal, oleacein, hydroxytyrosol) act as powerful antioxidants that actively protect the sensitive omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA throughout the shelf life. No added synthetic vitamin E.

DPA (docosapentaenoic acid) is a natural omega-3 almost exclusively found in high-quality unrefined fish oil. Its presence in measurable amounts is analytical proof that the oil is genuine natural triglyceride oil — not refined, re-esterified, or synthesized.

Why we do not report TOTOX for the final product

The TOTOX calculation is based on the anisidine value (AnV), which measures aldehydes via spectrophotometry. Olive oil polyphenols — oleocanthal, oleacein, and hydroxytyrosol — absorb light at exactly the same wavelength and cause an analytically falsely elevated AnV. The TOTOX value for the blended product is therefore misleadingly high and does not reflect the actual oxidation state. The relevant measure is instead TOTOX 11.5 for the incoming fish oil — an excellent value confirming that the raw material is fresh and well handled from source to bottling.

18.79 mg vitamin E per 100g — exclusively naturally occurring from the olive oil component. No added synthetic vitamin E. α-tocopherol strongly dominates, which is characteristic of genuine extra virgin olive oil, and actively helps protect the omega-3 fatty acids throughout the shelf life.

Zero detectable pesticide traces — one of the industry's most comprehensive tests

The analysis covers over 200 individual pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, and organic pollutants via GC-MS/MS. All substances are below the quantification limit (0.010 mg/kg). Many olive oils are marketed as organic without verifiable analysis — we show actual measurement results for each batch.
